We are thrilled to announce that our project coordinator, Prof. Reynold, has been invited to speak at the DSG Seminar Series at the University of Waterloo. The talk titled "HINCare: Data-Driven Volunteering" will introduce HINCare, a software platform that encourages mutual-help and volunteering culture in the community. HINCare uses Heterogeneous Information Network (HIN) to recommend helpers to elders or other service recipients. The matching algorithms that use HINs and AI technologies are based on the latest research results by Prof. Reynold and his team. This is the first time that HIN is being used to support elderly care, which makes this talk an exciting opportunity to learn about the future of caregiving.
This is a wonderful opportunity to hear from an experienced researcher and learn about how technology can support volunteering and caregiving. We encourage all interested individuals to attend this talk and gain valuable insights into the latest research on HINCare. We look forward to seeing you there!
